Understanding the Specs

Mesh Depth (MD) = how many meshes from top rope to bottom rope on your finished net.

Twine Thickness = the diameter of the nylon line used to make the mesh. Thicker = stronger:

• 0.35mm = 15lb breaking strain
• 0.50mm = 30lb breaking strain
• 0.60mm = 40lb breaking strain
• 0.70mm = 50lb breaking strain
• 0.80mm = 70lb breaking strain
• 0.20×6mm (multi-mono) = 30lb breaking strain

Mesh Sizes Available

• 75mm / 3" mono — for overseas export
• 85mm / 3¼" mono
• 90mm / 3½" mono and multi-mono — the most popular mullet mesh
• 100mm / 4" mono and multi-mono — for larger mullet and kahawai

All mesh is supplied in long rolls from 120m to 245m — enough to build multiple nets or carry out large repairs.
